Max Colla's personal page
Hi,
my name is Max.
I was born in Pisa (Italy) on 15/02/1969, same day and same town as Galileo Galilei (1564-1642), father of modern physics.
I'm a Ph.D. student in Physics at the Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.
I'm working on a Magneto Optical Trap (MOT) loaded
with metastable Helium, trying various experiments.
My previous work concerns the same subject, but using cesium.
I was part of Prof. Ennio Arimondo's research group in Pisa.
